Leonard Williams, master, and Harold Knight, purser, arrived. at Femmer's Dock at 8 o'clock this morning, and sailed for Sitka at 10:30 o'clock. All available space has been tak- en for the southbound voyage by round trip tourists, of whom there are 16 abcard at present, and can- nery workers from Port Althorp. The only passengers who will be leaving Juneau on the southbound trip are one round trip passenger and a party from the United States Marshal’s office taking jri- down. Ninnis has purchased the Juneau Motors, according to an announcement made this morning *by Mr. Ninnis and Frank McCai- fe previous owner. he deal was consummated some time ago, and Mr. Ninnis has been in possession since August 1, they said. The transfer of property takes in only the garage and mo- tor business, and does not include the building. Mr. McCafferty expects to leave for a trip East about the middle of September, and will De gone approximately four months, fol- lowing which he will return to Juneau. Thus far he has made no definite plans as to his activities after he returns, except that he probably will go ahead wiih his new garage building across the street from the Juneau Motors. According to Mr. Ninnis, the Juneau Motors will continue along the lines which have been followed in the past, continuing with the Ford Agency, and the repair shop. ‘The new owner is well known in !
