Joseph Ramsauer, master, and J. E. Hewitt, purser, arrived in Juneau at 5:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon o'clock this morning. The Haleakala, fresh from the inter-island run of Hawaii, got off to a bad start on the Totem-Land Cruises which are a new feature of the Alaska Steamship Company tourist service, in that she arrived from the Islands when the long- | shoremen’s strike was getting tight. In spite of that, however, and the resulting cancellation of hun- dreds of reservations, the vessel left Tacoma on the present voyage with more than 100 passengers. Space is available for 326 first- class and 99 steerage fares. Among the passengers on the, |ship were five for Juneau, Joseph Fdyes and Carl Wilth from Tac~ oma, Jack Kirmse and Mrs. Max Smith from Sitka, and M. Hage from Haines. { The Haleakala has three passen- {ger decks, all of them having the staterooms open outside. Cabins electrical equipment.
