Opened—Packet Will Be Loaded with Freight ANCHORAGE, Alaska, May 17.—| The river packet Nenana, owned and operated by the Alaska Rail- road, will sail from Nenana with the first trip of the season to the' lower Yukon River gold camps, in- cluding Ruby, Iditarod, Ophir, Flat, Koyukuk, Rampart and Tanana. ‘The Nenana will have barges al- s0 loaded with freight. The steamer Alice, of the same line, has already made a short trip to the Tanana River with a relay load, huge shipments of general supplies and mining machinery in- cluding 20 tractors. The lower river camps are get- ting low on food and planes are landing supplies at various points.
