The! colorful episodes of the Harte tale —the efforts of the suitors to attract her the meeting with the his shooting of his ene- holdup of a stagecoach, he forming of a Vigilante posse, he capture of the stranger, the girl’s fruitless efforts to save him from hanging, his escape, and the rapid series of crises that form the climax. Bellamy enacts the part of a synical gambler of that era, and with FEugene Pallette as a stage driver, Irving Pischel as the “‘men- ace,” Minna Gombell, Sarah Pad- den, Willard Robertson, Wallace and Murdock MacQuarrie in prominent roles, the supporting cast is a notable one. The screen version was written by Doris An- derson and Fdwin Justus Mayer. Opening Sunday Have you ever wondered what a butler does after working hours?
