Mix flour, baking powder, salt |and sugar. Add yolks and milk, two minutes. Add rest of ingredients, mixing lightly. Pour batter into greased waffle iron, |cook until well browned on all} ides. Serve hot. Corn Chowder “ % pounds salt pork, 3 table- spoons chopped onions, 4 table- |spoons chopped celery, 2 table- | spoons chopped green peppers, 1 | tablspoon chopped parsley, 1 cup | diced potatoes (raw), 3 cups water, |% teaspoon salt, % teaspoon pap- |rika, 1. cup corn, 1 cup milk, 1-3 |cup cream, 2 tablespoons butter. | Chop pork and heat until very |hot in frying pan. Add and brown onions and celery, add remaining | seasonings, potatoes, water and |corn. Cover and cook slowly 25 minutes or until potatoes are ten- n when tested with fork. Add |rest of ingredients. Boil one min- iu:e. Serve | Butterscotch Pudding | 2-3 cup dark brown sugar, 4 ta- | blespoon flour, 2 eggs, 2 cups milk, % teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vanil- la, 2 tablespoons butter.
