B. McGovern has been elected president of ‘the Pacific Canred Salmon Brokers’ Association at the fourteenth anmual meeting and dinner at the Washington ‘Athletic Club. McGovern has served as chair- man of the executive committee for two years and was chairman of the National Food Brokers' Association and Salmon Brokers' Association which held hearings in Chicago and Seattle last year. The association is a vital part of the salmon industry, and’ markets over three million cases of canned salmon annually.
