The Dawson News said he was one of the very oldtimers, going there in 1897, via St. Michael. The steam- that he was traveling on was n in at Circle City, and from {that point he and others pulled their sleds and outfits up the frozen Yukon, arriving in Dawson during the winter of '97 and '98. Mr. McCrimmon mined on French [ Hill, being ascociated with James Cody.
