A shipment of four tons of cas- siterite running about 75 per cent tin is in Juneau on its way from Cape Prince of Wales to Singapore, where it will be smelted and re- turn about $500 to the shipper at Tin City, according to a statement made by Capt. James Crawford, of the Motorship Boxer before the Juneau Chamber of Commerce at its weekly luncheon in Bailey’s Cafe. Capt. Crawford, a guest at the Juncheon, told of his latest trip into the Arctic for the Indian Service. Another guest, traveling auditor for the Alaska Steamship Company, also spoke to the Chamber. There was a good attendance at the luncheon, but no business of importance was transacted. Next Thursday being Thanks- giving Day, the Chamber will not meet.
