VICTOR 'GRIFFITHS’ FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT 2 TODAY Victor Griffiths, who was Kkilled in an accident at the Alaska Ju- neau Gold Mining Company last Wednesday night, was buried today from the Chapel of the C. W Carter Mortuary where services were held at 2 o'clock. The Rev Henry R. Cross, pastor of the Methodist Church, conducted the services and several musical selec- tions were sung by Mrs. C. P. Jenne with Mrs. Trevor Davis accompanying. Interment todok place in Ever- green Cemetery and pall bearers were William Kelly, Jack Romer, Lee Dolan, Jack Harlin, Fred Soberg and George Garcavy. Goerig, aged 34 years, member of a Seattle contracting firm, was found in the swimming pool in the Elks Club here Sun- day. Apparently Goerig was tak- ing a plunge and was drowned. No one else is known to have been using the pool at the time. The body had been in the water two ar three hours before found. Goerig was the son of A. C.
