C., Oct, 13— The Princess Ena was wrecked on a reef off Copper Island, of the Queen Charlotte group yesterday, according to advices received by the owners, the Biddwell-Street Cannery. The Ena was in tow of the tug Jedway when she grounded and listed so badly that the life boats could not be launched. Five members of the crew swam to safety in the high seas and oth- ers were rescued by the tug Sea Wave after they were forced to swim at least 200 yards. Later the ' Yukon ar- rived at Yakutat with the hull of {the Swan but the machinery had . dropped through.
