It left herz this morn- ing at 9:30 o'clock for Ketchikan and tomorrow will continue to Seattle for the winter. After reaching Seattle, the plane will have a major overhauling and b2 converted to wheels for a charter trip to Del Monte, Califor- nia, according to A. B. Hayes, Alaska manager. The Ketchikan schedule will be dropped for the winter, he said. Arriving here on the Chichagof om R. D. Russell from Ketchikan; Neil Grant from Wrangell and Frank Barnreiter from Petersburg. When the plane left thismorn- ing, Lemuel Wingard took pas- sage and will continue to Seattl> on the seaplane tomorrow; V. A. Paine left for Keku Island; Hor- ace Hall for Petersburg and Neil Grant for Wrangell. Mr. Sasseen remained in Junsau and Lloyd Jarman will make the trip to Seattle as mechanic on the seaplane.
