Since Wednesday, when the Mc- Donalds left for Seattle, on the| Chichagof, Mr. Harrls waited at Hamilton Bay for its return and| visited with settlers, and also spent| an enjoyable evening with a trout fishing party from Kake, that went to the bay on Ernest Kirberger's gas boat. The party consisted of and Mrs. Kirbergsr, their small Miss Butler, government nurse at Kake, and Miss Stewart, who is a guest of Miss Butler's. Harry Ringstead is developing a homestead at Hamilton Bay, ac- cording to Harris, and Tom Moon- ey is doing likewise at Big John Bay. Both of these men, according to Harris, believe that the country is suitable for cattle raising and hope eventually to develop herds. Trail work is badly needed be- tween Hamilton Bay and Big John Bay, according to Harris.
