Condit and Mrs Condit, former Alaskans who now making their home in Pasa- dena, were in Juneau this morning on the Northland, enroute to Sit- ka, where Dr. Condit will del the commencement address to the graduating class of the Sheldon Jackson School. Their present voyage north is a trip to their old home, and they expect to spend the summer in |Sitka, where Dr. Condit will con- tinue work .of cataloging at the Sheldon Jackson museum which h'- started several years ago while su- perintendent of the Pr“sby[enan Mission schaol. Centinues Weork Dr. Since his retirement, Condit has continued his interest in the |Presbyterian Misisonary work and is a frequent speaker for the Board est joy 'in his new home, he says, is his large bible class at the church of Dr. Robert Freeman in Pasadena, one of the la byterian churches in the country. In Alaska Early Dr. Condit first came to Alaska as pastor of the Northern Light Presbyterian Church in Juneau in 1896, spent some time in Fair- banks later and for ten years was general missionary for his church in Alaska. Dr. and Mrs Condit have friends in Juneau and were de- lighted to renew old acquaintance- ships while the Northland was in port this morning.
