LaGasa returned to Juneau yesterday afternoon with his crew of four on the motorship Sitka which was chartered by the com- pany from I. Goldstein. Capt. La Gasa has been divmgi at the scene of the wreck and | conducting operations there for the last six weeks in an effort to salvage the fortune reputed to have sunk with the vessel many years ago. He has been using a| diving suit resembling a suit of armor invented by himself and a diving bell with telephone and oth- er necessary equipment. Still Confident Though Capt. Dotson, wife of| John Dotson of Eagle River died at 12:15 o'clock this morning at St. Ann's Hospital. Mrs. Dotson was brought to Juneau late yester- day afternoon by her son, Alvin Dotson and entered St. Ann’s Hos- pital about 6 o'clock in the evening. ‘Death was caused by myocarditis according to Dr. H .C. De Vighns who was called in last evening to attend her. Mrs. Dotson is survived by her husband, two children, Alvin Dot- son and a married daughter, Mrs. {W. E. Butts both of Juneau, and by four brothers, Herman Lievel,| and Bernard Lievel of Ronan, Mon- tana, Henry and Anton Lievel of Kennewick, Washington, and a sis- ter, Mrs. Katherine Legei of St. Paul, Minnesota.
