Gross, proprietor of the| Coliseum chain of motion picture theatres in Southeast Alsska, started today his annual camy paign for funds to make cash gifts to residents of the Pioneers’ Home at Sitka. Mr. Gross is canvassing Juneau citizens. He has arranged that persons desiring him to call on them may telephone their ad-i dresses to the Coliseum theatre. Contributions also may be left there or sent there by mail. Some night this week, the pro- ceeds of the Coliseum theatre will be turned into the fund. A dance for the benefit of the fund will be given next Saturday night. Managers of Coliseum theatres in Ketchikan, Wrangell, Peters- burg, Haines and Sitka are di- recting campaigns in those places.
