Lind-j bergh from the kidnappers who took him from his home at Hopg- well, N. J., last Tuesday evening. The Department of Justice has detalled special investigators from its staff in addition to its regular agents in the field. Agents of the Prohibition Unit have also been instructed to lend a hand in the search. There are 563 of these agents in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Customs Inspectors and border patrols of the Treasury Department are also under orders to keep a sharp wafch for sus- picious persons. e H.
