Tenight will be “Sllver Night. Every woman attending either of the regular performances will re- celve a piece of table silverware. Friday night will be “Boy Scout and Girl Scout Night.” Every boy Scout and every girl Scout will be admitted free to ‘either perform- ance. Scouts having uniforms are expected to wear them. “It's A Wise 'Child” opens with a thrilling scene, a race between a limited train and a midget road- ster, piloted by Miss Davies, with 'a grade crossing as the finish line. The roadster wins, but not by a very wideé margin. Starting out with such a rapid impetus, the story picks up momen- tum as it goes along until it reaches a final hilarious closeup, although sweetened by a sudden climax of the romantic interest that dominates the plot. - Plays Part of Hoyden Miss Davies, as Joyce Stanton, plays a hoyden in a scandal-loving small town. The theme is a ro- mance of tangled loves, mistaken identify and scandal that enmesh- ed the wrong party only to get her out of the unwanted engage- ment and into a real romance. Miss Davies is engaged to wed the pompous banker and civic leader, enacted by Robert Mc- Wade.
