United States' Marshal William Schnabel, arrest- ing officer. Willard is alleged to have confessed to a large number of petty robberies and to have im- plicated in some of them two oth- ers—George Howard and John Wil- lard. All three men are now in cus- tody at Sitka and will be arraigned tomorrow befors Judge R. W. DeArmond in the United Commissioner’s Court. A search of the residences of Howard and John Willard, and of them, is said to have led to the recovery of a portion of the goods stolen in sev- eral robberies. Alfred Willard told Deputy Schnabel he played a lone hand in most of the thefts. - e Mrs. G. F.
