It will cruise from that port to An- chorage next week. Th> new boat, named the Mar ten, was recently built in Seattle and last week completed its trials on Lake Washington. It made 11 milés an hour there and it is ex- pected to develop about 13'%4 miles when’ opsrated at full speed. | It is 37 feet long and has a beam of 10 feet. It is powered with a 100-horsepower ga$ engine. It is @ cruiser type with lines something like the Jazz, cruiser of Territorial Auditor Cash Cole. It'is heavily constructed with a view being able to meet the conditions it will encounter in. Cook Inlet waters.
