[ . . ° ° . . . . . - . . . . . . . 1750000 CASES Partial Reports Indicate Large Pack of Finest Grade of Salmon Alaska's ‘red salmon pack this season probably aggregate 1,750,000 cases, according to partially com- plete pack reports received from various districts at local headquar- ters of the United States Burean of Fisheries. With several dis- tricts not included, the red pack up to last Saturday night, was ap- proximately 1,300,000 cases . The Bristol Bay pack, final, was 1,024262 cases of reds. Chignik the north and south sides of the Alaska Peninsula and Yakutat add- ed about 273,000 to that figure. No reports are available on Karluk, Kodiak, Resurrection Bay, Cook Inlet, Prince William Sound and Southeast Alaska. Southeast Alaska pack reports up to Saturday night were incom- plete ‘today. Scattering returns for last week indicated the main run of pinks has reached Baranof West. Coast, Icy Strait, Chatham Strait and Prederick Sound.
