The sessions will be held in the Presbyterian church for all the children except the primary de- partment, which consists of the children of the First, Second and Third grades, who will meet at the Methodist church. Last year the children who at- tended the Church Vacation school, enjoyed it very much and it is ex- pected an even better time will be enjoyed this year. ———..-—— « i DEAD IN JAIL Lodger in (Ejail Passes Away During Night from Stroke Fred Wright, aged about ‘60 . years, died last night from natural causes in a cell at the City Wail il where he had been permitted to sleep for the past three weeks. His cash body was discovered about 8:30 a.m. today by Chief of Police G. A. Getchell when he opened the cell to allow Wright to leave as was his custom. 3 United States Commissioner Sey 7 was notified but, after hearing the details, decided an inquest was un- necessary. Death was apparently the result of a paralytic stroke. ; " . Wright is said to have resided| here for several years. He was a cook by trade but owing to a partial disability following a stroke sometime ago, he had not been able to work at it in recent months.
