At a special meeting held in the rooms of the Firemen's Club last night, the Department dis- cussed plans for its part in pre- paring for the celebration and ap- pointed committees to insure a real parade. Seven hunadred and fifty flags have been ordered by the Depart- ment. It is its plan to have in line every child in town, who :3 big enough to march, and to give he or she a flag to carry. In the adult section, the De- partment will turn out in full force; the American Legion, Moose and Elks will also have marching contingents; and it is hoped that autoists generally will decorate their cars with flags and join the procession. The fireworks section of the celebration has been provided for.
