It was a merry mix-up in which foot- ball tactics were used so freely that Referee Osborne had to call time out in the first quarter to caution the players against roughness. The score was 22 ot 18, Douglas led throughout the en- ire game, the Juneau Girls failing to even tie the Islanders, although at times there was little space be- tween the scores of the two outfits. In the final quarter the Juneau girls, as in their last game with Do s, attempted a flashy come- back. They started with the score at 19 to 11 against them and came one point of a tie. Douglas managed to break it up, however 1d added three points to give them their 4-point win. Douglas Scores First Fraser opened the scoring with a field goal. Jensen converted for Juneau Fraser popped one in from the charity line and sank a field goal a moment later. Wal- dron added two points for Juneau, Fraser again looped the hoop from the field, Africh converted and Waldron scored from the court. The quarter ended 8 to 5. Jensen made three points in the second canto with a field goal and a conversion, while Fraser made one field goal. This was all the scoring in that period. In the third Douglas piled up a neat lead. Fraser added two more, converted, and put in another field goal as the period ended 17 to 11. Juneau Makes Spurt opened the last quarter goal by Fraser.
