For more than a generation—or, in fact, since 1876, the American government has been trying to find cut exactly what happened on the banks of the Little Big Horn on that sunny morning when Lieut. Colonel George A. Custer and his entire command went to their deaths before the massed rushes of Sitting Bull's Sioux. Only recently, while filming the “Spoilers of the West,” in Wyoming, Tim McCoy, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Western star, and authority on the ‘Western Indians, was able to get ‘the aged Tndians to tell what they know of this bloody battle. He also got the younger Indians to tell ‘him what they heard from the lips of their fathers.
