The fact that Piggly Wiggly Alaska Company, capitalized and operated entirely by Alaska people and Alaska capital, has been able to open units in Ketchikan, Petersburg, Juneau, Cordova and Anchorage as well as formulate plans for Store Number Six; pay two dividends on its capital stock (a third dividend will be paid within the next two months) and at the same time revolutionize the cost of groceries to the Alaska public is an accomplishment well worthy of celebrating.
