Juneau Motors, Inc. HERRMANN'S STAMP COLLECTION AT FAIR One of the interesting exhibits at the Southeastern Alaska Fair will be the stamp collection of Frank Herrman of this city. Mr. Herrmann has one of the best col- lection of stamps, both old and modern, and covering in part prac- tically every country in the world and their cclonies, in Alaska. He has been gathering the stamps for years and their value is several thousand dollars. Mr. Herrmann says he is making the collection for the fun and en- tertainment and education there is in collecting.. He hopes that the collection will be so large that some day it will be a very yaluable asset to his grandson. ———————— . WHALING STATION DOES THRIVING YEAR'S WORK One of Alaska's most thriving in- dustries, and one concerning which ittle is known, is the American Pacific Whaling Co., of Port Hob- on and Akutan.
