C., Mar. 16. —A truckload of liquor for the Siamese Legation was seized late yesterday afternoon by the Police. The truck driver was not a mem- ber of the Legation and was ar- rested. The consignment of 60 cases was later delivered to the Legation by the police under super- vision of Internal Revenue officers. None was taken as evidence. | The State Department officials reported the incident was unknown ,to them. | It is indicated that the Legation | proposed to report the matter to |the department. SEATTLE, March 16.—Schoon- ers Alice B, Wireless and Mermaid arrived yesterday with only 9,700 pounds of halibut which sold for 12 to 156 cents and 24': and 15. Cod sold for 7 cents. KETCHIKAN, Alaska, March 16. —Ninety-nine thousand pounds of halibut sold here yesterday at 15.60 and 6 cents and 14.30 and 6 cents. HALIBUT SELLS 10.25 AND 6.25; SCHOONERS HERE Four thousand pounds of halibut sold -yesterday at the Juneau Cold Storage. The lot was the cargo of the Grayling and went to New England at 10% and 5% cents. To- day the schooner Electra, Capt. An- drew Olsen, sold 14,000 pounds at 10 and 6% to Alaska Fish Brokers. The schooner Sea Bird, Capt. H. Reitan, is in from Ketchikan where 26,000 pounds were discharged. The boat was returning to the banks and came here due to engine trouble. On her way to the banks after selling the large cargo of 40,000 pounds at Seattle, the schooner here yesterday afternoon for ice and bait.
