The Stars and Masons held their annual outdoor affair on the ‘Thane beach. About thirty mem. bers of the two lodges and families went over on the ferry at 9 o'clock in the morning and returned at 5 p.m. Games and contests fea- tured the picnic. Photograhper Andrews took moving pictures of the gathering. The end of the island was also the scene of a picnic held by the Rebekahs and Odd Fellows. Garberg, Past Noble Grand of Everett, were honor guests of the Rebekahs. Joe Riedi took out a party of about twelve friends to Oliver's Inlet Sunday, where fishing and hiking made upa good day's out- ing.
