S. Bureau of Public Roads of-| fice here, it was made kncwn to-| day. The total outlay involved is approximately $237,800, according to officials of the Bureau here. One of the projects in the Glacier Highway, Fritz Cove sec tion in the vicinity of Juneau, the contract for which was awarded to the Johnson Gardner company of Portland, Ore. Two contracts for work near Petersburg, one on the Petersburg Highway in the Scow Bay cannery section, and| the other on the Point Highway, in the Point Muddy River section were aw ed to the Seims and Carlson, In corporated, of Spokane, Wash., as was the contract for the project on the Tongass Highway near Ketchikan. | | Fritz Cove GCection ! Scow Bay Section on the Petersburg High the Scow Bay cannery section consists of grading and surfacing about 2710 miles of road, at an estimated cost of $83.- 700. It is a continmation of work which the Bureau of Public Roads has been doing for the last six or seven years.
