The picnickers left Douglas early in the morning on the boat Pheasant, going first to Grind- stone and then to Taku Harbor where the day was spent. — e SWINDLE RESIDENCE SOLD QOscar Rollins and family have decided to make Douglas their home by the purchase this week of the home of Mr. ahd Mrs. Homer Swindle on Fourth streel. Mr.. Rollins, operates the trolling boat Mayflower and accompanied by his family, consisting of his wife, two daughters, and one son, will spend the summer fishing. They expect to return to take up their residence here in August. Mr. Swindle will move, in the meantims, with his family to Ju- neau.
