The Templehof officials have installed an apparatus for inhal- ing antiair-sickwmess fumes, and are convinced that it is a suc- cess. They feel confident that other airdromes of the Lufthansa (German Federal Airways Cor- poration) will emulate the exam- ple of the Berlin flying field. 'Any passengers who fears that he may become airsick, may in- hale the antidote, which consists in the main of oxygen gas and cinnamon. The mixture has fli quieting effect upon the nerves of the diaphragm. ‘Air passengers who arrived at Tempelhof quite ill from air sick- ness were brought back to a nor- mal condition within less than five minutes through the inhala- ( # tlon of the antidote. It is plan- ned in due time to have an in- halation apparataus installed on every passenger plane with tubes running to every seat. —ep “Expert at Mine Rescues, * ¢ But Fears Plane Ride ¥ WASHINGTON, May 3—Al though he has been through more than 50 mine disasters, doing res- work at levels anywhere from to 3,600 feet below the ‘earth’s surface, Danfel Harrington, vet- eran engineer of the federal bu- réau of mines, is uneasy at the b t of an airplane ride.
