Petersburg opened the scoring early in the first frame with a foul conversion, but the northern team pressed forward, with diffi- culty, and at the end of the won - period were on the long end of the 5 to 3 score. In the second *Scow” Orme quarter, ‘with shooting them in at intervals, the Juneau boys ran up a big lead, at the same time holdin opposition to but two chalk The hali end- ed Juneau 16, Petershu 5. Both team played great ball in the third quarter, but Run- stead of Petershurg was too good for the locals and was largely responsible for the 3 chalkers made in the quarter by his team. At the end of this period Juneau led only 18 to 14, in spite of the fact they were playing a good game. Burke, Juneau guard, was forced out on fouls in the final quarter, and was replaced by Brandt. .In this quarter the Ju- neauv boys got away to some of their best playing and ran their score up ten points while Peters- burg made but four. The spurt of the Juneau aggregation was particularly effective after the manner in which the opposition had scored in the previous period. Jim Orme, with his shooting, and Henning Berggren, who play- ed one of his best games of the season at standing guard, were the outstanding players for the Juneau boys, while Runstead of Petersburg, was high point man of the game, with nine points to his credit. The opening lineup for Juneau included the Orme brothers at forward, Livie at center, and Burke and Berggren as guards. Judging from the size of the crowd present, which was in fa- vor of the Petersburg quintet, the guarantee of $200 will be made on gate receipts. “Coach Harry E.
