Both the mother and daughter are doing nicely. —ee— - FRESHMEN FOLLIES f e The Freshmen Follies will be given at the Liberty Theatre Thursday evening in connection with the seven reel feature “Lady | ‘Windermere's Fan.” This arrangement has been deemed best due to the fact that the baskethall game with Juneau is arranged for Saturday, anl that the benefit show for the Ol Pioneers’ Home will be given Fri- day. Those who have already pur- chased tickets may exchange them at the ticket window for the regular ticket. The show starts at 7:30 o'clock. - “COUNSEL FOR DEFENSE"” IS AT LIBERTY TONIGHT “Counsel for the Defense” is a screen adaptation of the Lerer Scott novel which met with suca nation-wide popularity under the title of “The Attorney for the De- fense.” Those who have read the storv will recall how it abounds in in- trigue. But there is a pleasant surprise for thdse who visit the Liberty theatre tonight, when “Counsel for the Defense” is on the screen. They will find that the film adaptation under th= supervision of Eddie Silton has been snapped up to a furious pace which will hold any audience spelibound.
