It was learned later that he was suffering from an attack of typhoid fever. Grasshoppers, which have in- jfested parts of Camas Prairie during the summer, are dying natural deaths, according to Capt. Levi Castle, who on Tues- day night made observations of hopper conditions on his ranch | west of town. The hoppers are | dying rapidly, said Mr. Castle, | who is puzzled to know the cause of their deaths. He has not poisoned the hoppers.
