Claimant names as witnesses: e, of Boles, tton wood, Henry Waltz, of Idaho, Idaho ‘ than ever Sessstional Seare Heads During the flu epidemic all over the country the newspapers, thru constant publicity and with un- due emphasis, have kept the pub- lic in a state of alarm, Some pa- pers have used large flaming head lines proclaiming flu bans have been placed here and there and that the people would be prohib- ited gathering, or that it would be unsafe to transact business only under certain conditions in some of the towns. It has with many been a case of making mountains of mole hills. Men- tally they pictured a malady which they would contract if they left their homes and if so it would certainly be fatal. A great many have been almost frightened to death and under such a condition would become an easy victim of the disease, f The health authorities took pre- cautions to prevent the spread of the epidemic, but the papers ag- s:|gravated the fact by giving it more publicity than necessary, Orp Keystone Do More Harm Than Good |ierson AT THE Saturday, January 18 A Bluebird Feature by Herbert Rawlinson “THE MAN TRAP” and Two-Reel L R Comedy Sunday, January 19 MILE PAULETTE By Clane Anderson Two Reel Comedy A HINDOO HODOO Both above Shows 10c and 20c Thursday, January 23 tMay Marsh and d Fatty = MANUFACTURERS OF HIGH PATENT Graham, Whole Wheat Flour and Farina We can steam roll, chop or pulverize your grain ac- cording to your wishes oe highest price at all times HARD & SOFT WHEAT FLOURS We are always in the market for your grain and guarantee the day’s Cottcnwood Milling & Elevator Co., Ltd. # ARRAS Will be Shown Thursday the 23rd. | an To even sneeze or cough in lic ver? eal for — an out and aw as aflu v and ordered sent toa” hospital. True it has been wel tae every precaution, but at the same time it has been unnecessary to go to extremes enlarging upon the necessity therefor and especially as in the case of many of the newspapers, going out of their jur- isdiction to find fatalities of the malady and then placing alarm- ing headlines over them. Péople generally were thoroughly ai of the situation without sensation- al publicity. ane = ——o——_. W.
