W, Blocum, & well-known restdent of Perry, Dallas County, falled In busineas, with small losses to creditors, eome of whom unsuccessfully atiempted to procuro his indict- ment, Laat night about 11 o'clock nine men came In disgulse to his house and knocked &t the door. ifa had gono to bed, but nrose, and, in his night-shirt, opened the door, when he was seized nil carried off, Ife screamed lustily, and & neighbor caine to his reacue, but he was sllenced with revolvers placed at bis head.
