Kankakee Second had been withonta rointster. Ihighland Park Charch had eecured the Rev, Mr, Dinscll, The whole number of chnrches recelving aid during the year was thirteen. A new mission in & German neighborhood of this city hiad been started, under tho leadership of the Rev. Charles Steinhardt. During the year $7,476 had becn pald out in support of churches of the Pres- bytery. Thoamount pald to the treasury of the Presbytery had beon about $4,000. The Commit- tes deemed the financlal part of 1ts dutles tho most difficult. If the churches had fulfilicd their pledges during the year, there would havo been no excess of expenditures over receipte.
