At 9 o'clock the judges began counting, but wore 80 slow that the ballots will not bo gotten through with till somo time to-day. It ia cortain, howover, that the rogular Poople's ticket is olocted,~boing Korn for Asscssor, Knerr for Collector, Konuy for Suporvisor, Swoenoy for ‘Town Olerl, and Daly for Constablo. The total number of votes cast was &g follows: Bixteonth Ward, 1,089; Bovanteonth, 825; Eigltoontls, 1,600; Nintooonth, 765 ; Twontieth, 1,120 ; total, 5,209, Tho only ward counted was the Sixteonth, whore, for Assossor, Ilorn recoived 428 votes, snd Patch 870, The Workingmen's ticket ran Dadly, excopt in the Eightcenth Ward, bbb dery, SUBURBAN. LAKE VIKW. Tho election-yestordsy passed off in a quieb manner, although an unusunt degroe of intorest was manifested, tho Iargost voto over cast in Lako View boing polled. An issuo was mado on tho ealoon-question early in the day, and the Gormaon voto at onco rallied around tho saloon- men's candidate for Highwny Commissioner, snd elocted him.
