Setting The Styles BY AILEEN LAMONT (Copyright 1926, Casper Tribune) NEW YORK, Jan. 3¢.—The flan- nel shirt which figured so largely in the recent gossip of some of our oldest families recently brought to Prominence by sudden marriage or divorce, has been adopted into the costumes of the newer-rich, They are being worn with riding costumes A in the near and far south. But whereas the old time miners and prospectors wore red flannel, the new shirts for equestriennes are of white, gray or violet. A Shining Example It is impossible to remain in the dark about some of the new eyen- ing frocks, even when the lights go out. For sequins are in full vorue as trimmingsand many ofthe span- gles are treated with luminous paint. In the light they are of such attrac- tive shades as peacock blue, red and silver.
