WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 13, 1926 'MARCHETA'T0 BE PRESENTED THIS EVENING Packed House Expected for First Showing of Elks Comedy. Tonight will d “Marcheta” pening her arms to a packed house ut the Elks hall, where the musical comedy featuring more than 200 local people will be given its. Init! appearance. The large cast been hard at work for more t two weeks and the entire prod tion should be run off wo The curtain {= vise at 8:30 o'clock and sentation should afford wd an excellent tainment. Proceeds of the show will go to} swell the Elks charity fund, and the price of seats have been plac vithin the reach of everyone. The first eleven rows are priced at $1.50 per seat while the remainder of the house has been sold for $1.00. Director Bud Bullis, of Fostoria, Ohio, is thoroughly optimistic garding the success of the produc- tion and predicts that it will set a new Casper amusement record. Those who have already purchased tickets are asked to call at Lloy drug store before thelr particu night arrives _and have them ex changed for reserved seats. Seats ved at the door, but it is a case of “first come first served” so better act at once if you wis! to be among those far forward. The mammoth cast surely includes some friends of everyone in Casper, so It is reasonable to assume that if only the friends and relatives of cast members attend, the house should be packed on all three nights. Marcheta will be presented for three successive nights, tonight, Thursday and Friday. A few prom!- nent members of the principal cast are Patsy Carr, Jr., Edna Trump, Brian Dougherty. Catherine Davis, and Edna Welsbrode. The stage {s all set, the scene shifters are ready, the orchestra !s all pepped up for the occasion, and the starter's gun fs ready to fire for Marcheta, lively, musical, and orig- Inal, a production sure to remain for months in the memortles of those who see it. ge Sir Austen Chamberlain, the Brit- ish foreign minister, is a noted Unguist.
