DODGE OUT 10 HOLD INTEREST Purchasers and All Others Await Price Schedule have occasioned more surprise and comment the one published by Dodge Inc., stating simply that tial price reductions would public on January 7, al- though actually in effect December 15. It was explained that the full amount of the reductions would be refunded to ail persons buying Dodge Brothers cars between Decem- ber 15 and January 7 Robert C. Graham, newly appoint- ed vice president and general man- ager of Dodge Brothers, Inc., yester- day supplemented the announcement with the following statement: “Telegrams are pouring in from every section of the world. Dealers report the most intense. enthusiasm in the history of Dodge Brothers. “They know that these reductions would have been impossible without greatly increased production—and that is now assured. We have just completed a $10,000,000 expansion in new buildings and equipment that will nearly double our capacity. “Although facilities have been greatly increased every year since 1914, Dodge Brothers have lost hun- dreds of thousands of sales through inability to supply demand. We are now in a position to meet what we aro firmly convinced will be the greatest demand in history. > MOTOR OUTPUT SETS A RECORD (Continued From Page One) ngainst restriction of rubber ship- ments from her far eastern colonies by Great Britain were unavailing in 1925. This restriction of supplies, coupled with extraordinary demand by tire’ manufacturers and makers of mechanical rubber goods and foot- wear, entailed record consumption and high prices, Crude rubber supplies in this country and abroad have been dwind- ling. Stocks in London recently have fallen 30,000 tons from the amount on hand June 30, 1925. The export allowance under the Steven- scn plan was increased 10 per cent November 1 but this did not serve to build up stocks. There {s no sign of slackening in manufacturing ac- tivities, The advance in crude rubber in most cases was passed on to the consumer. Tire prices to retail buy- ers were jumped 60 per cent during the year and tire makers are assert- ed to have piled up the best profits since 1919. The shortage in‘ crude rubber caused those American manufactur ing firms which own plantations to make every effort to increase crude production. You will hear more of the same at frequent intervals during the month of January. The reduction is really quite large for a small car in the class of the Chevrolelt and should win still more friends for this al- ready popular [ittle automobile. As We read the list of ski jumpers in the great national tournaments, we come to the conclusion that a good Irishman or Frenchman hasn't a chance. [t seems that one must have seen the light of day in the Scandinavian countries to success- fully compete at this hair-raising sport. So good is the Christmas display at the Casper Motor company, that it is still standing awaiting the eyes of all who love a really beautiful display, Mr. Kennedy who is now district representative for the Platte Faw- cett Motor company, is in Casper for & few days to continué the work of finding a suitable dealer for this territory for the Paige and Jewett.
