I know that every one of you are going to act like little ladies and gentlemen. The ushers in the hall will see that every one cf you will find seats.. “The children who attend the Washington, Willard, Grant, Wilson, Jefferson and Evansville schools will assemble at their respective schools at 8:30 o'clock, The children of Englewood will assemble at the store in Englewood at the same time. The children who attend the Country Club, Jimsville, Mills, Lincoln, Roose- velt, McKinley and Harding schools will assemble at 9:30 o'clock. The children of Midwest Heights will as- semble at the church at 9:30 o'clock. Be sure and be there at the stated hour. Don't be too early nor too late. “To the stragglers, stop any car, bus or truck that carries our flag and you will be taken to the Elks’ Home. “Remember good folks, I know no creed or color, rich or poor—I am a saint to all. “To the parents who are sending their small children, whether they are acompanied by larger children or not, they should be tagged, giving thelr phone number and street address. “To the older people, I) will say if you are bringing any small children to the Elks’ Home, the ushers will see that they are seated and every Elk will see to their protection and welfare. ‘Good folks, remember that you have 4,500 kiddies in your city and vicinity and I do not want to neglect one child. “Sick children, who cannot attend the Elks’ home on Christmas morn- ing, if you will address a letter to Santa, care of the Elks’ home, I will see that you will get your share of whatever is allotted to this com- munity. “To the poor and ineedy, I will way that I have appointed a com- mittee of Iadies to look after your welfare, and they will deliver to all who need tt, a basket filled with good things to eat.” Christmas carols will be sung on the porch of the Y. W. C. A. head- quarters, 142 South Wolcott street, starting at 6:30 o'clock this evening. The girls who take part in this pro- gram will afterwards sing carols at the city park opposite the city hall where a giant community tree has been placed, The tree was first lighted last night. It will be lighted from 5 o'clock until midnight to- night and each night of the holidays through the courtesy of the Moun- tain States Power company. A big Christmas tree at the Mid- west school grounds for the benefit of employes of the Midwest Refining company there and sul lary com- panies and their families. Presents will be given away there this eve- ning. Santa Claus will arrive on a fire truck. Carols will be sung and everything possible will be done to spread Christmas cheer. ‘The Salvation Army of Casper will play a big part in making it a real Christmas here., The organization has had kettles on the streets for some tithe past and money has been collected with which to provide Christmas dinners for the poor peo- ple of the city.
