M. in regular session, there bein; present, Commissioners J. 5 Scott, Chairman, Dr. G. T. Mor- n, Earle G. Burwell, and Emma . Marshall, Clerk. Minutes of last meeting of County Commissioners were read and approved. On recommendation of Alex Me- Pherson, motion was made by Dr, G. T. Morgan and seconded by Zarle Burwell that M. A. Tisdale, be deputized as Assistant County Stock Inspector, salary to start January 1, 1925. Carried. Motion was made by Dr, G, T. Morgan and seconded by J. E. Scott that $20.00 for groceries be allowed the S. H. Seaman family for month of March, also that one ton of coal be sent them. Carried. Whereas, the County Commis- sioners wish legal advice as to their rights in paying salaries of County Officials and the deputies of County Offitials, and, whereas all county officials and their Gh uties are interested parties, it is deemed necessary to secure such advice from some party other than County Officials or their deputies and for that purpose At- torney Henry E. Perkins is hereby retained at a fee of two hundred ($200.00) dollars. The Commissioners instructed the County Clerk to issue certifi- cate of indebtedness for the above amount to Henry E. Perkins. Wyoming Compiled Statute 1920, and that a copy of said notice was duly mailed by registered mail to alk persons owning lands, or claiming any interest in any lands, over and across which said roposed road was to be altered. t appeared to the Commissioners that all the proceedings*had are due and regular, that no claims for damages or objections have been filed or made, and that said alteration should be made as pra: for. Said petition coming now on for final hearing, it was moved and seconded: That whereas no remonstrences against said alteration, and no claims for damages, have been filed, and all proceedings to date have been due and regular, in conformity with law, and thet the public good requires it, THEREFORE, that the “Salt Creek Highway,” a public road, from the North end of the North Platte River concrete bridge and running thence northerly over and across the NE% of Sectifn 7, and the E%s of Section 6, Township 33 North, Range 79 West of the 6th P. M., and over and across the E%% of Section 31 and the W% of Section 32, Township 34 North, Range 79 West of the 6th P. M., in Natrona County, Wyoming, and terminating at the north boundary line of the Ws of Section 32, aforesaid, be, and it is hereby, altered so that the same be 80 feet in width instead of 500 feet, or 40 feet on each side of the center line of the soncrete asphalt surfaced road, as now built and constructed, and thet the excess over said 80 feet in width be vacated, and that the County Surveyor make an accu- rate survey thereof, and plat the same in the books provided there- for by the county, and that the County Clerk record in the same books, opposite or near to such plat so that the same may be eas- ily ascertained to be concerning the platted road, the proceedin, of this Board in relation to said alteration, in order to keep a per- manent record thereof.
