Because of an inadequacy of water from the Pathfinder dam to relieve the alkalinity of the water used for city supply, the city co-op- erating with the Midwest Oil com- pany officials is attempting to have the release from the dam increased from 50 cubic féet per second to 75 cubic feet per second. As the-city en- tered into a contract with the recla- mation service in 1921 to cover this contingency up to 100 cubie feet per second, it is believed that the sit uation will be remedied immediately.
