Activities For The Coming Season A program of work for the Young Womens’ Christian association’ this winter Was outlined by the board of directors of that organization in a session Friday. An all day meeting was held by the Girl Reserves Satur- day and a detalled plan of the year's work was arrived at while a number of things to be dene by spring were decided upon. 3 During the last month the rooms of the ¥. W. C. A. have been mide ayuch more attractive with new rugs, draperies and pictures. Th room which was used for class wor! up to this time has been rearranged for the new girls’ work secretary, Miss Glenn McGahey. This will be used as a club room by the high school girls who are also members of the Girl Reserve corps. Miss McGahey has secured the Methodist church annex for gym- niasium, work and will soon announce a class for teachers, business girl: young married women~and others interested. Ps A_membership meeting will be held by..the Young Womens’ Chris fan assocation next Thur ning in the Klein-Marks in the basement of th building, Miss Mildred Byga: tional town secretary for this re will be present and will add interest to the meeting. Casper will prob ably have few visits from national secretaries this year. Much interest is being shown in the various lines of education which are to be presented by the Y. W. C. ‘A. during the fall and © winter months. Requests have been re- ported for dramatic work, music, Biple study, psychology and handi- craft. Classes and groups are be- ing afranged and announcement of some is being made through the press. The chorus, which promises to be an exeeptionally rare oppor- tunity for all who want a chance to sing for the sheer joy and recrea- tion of it, is attracting considerable attention on the part of business: wo- men and girls and a large registra- ton is in prospect. A request for a Bible study by mothers who do not have opportun- ity to keep up their own study is soon to be met and announcement has already been made of the first meetirig to be held at the home of Mrs. Bert McCarthy, 1113 South Film, Wednesday morning at 10 o'- clock. All women interested are in- vited to Attend this first meeting when the nature of the course will be outlined and some decisions will be made concerning the future plans for meeting and conduct of the class.
