WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, Erickson-Shikaney Nuptia!s in Cheyenne. The marriage of Mrs. Bernice Erickson of San Francisco to James Shikaney, popular Casper business man took place this motfning in Cheyenne, the Rt. Rev. McGovern performing the ceremony. The bride, who is a daughter of Mrs. G. T.. Morgan of this city, has visited in Casper several times and has many friends here. She was dressed in an attractive black and white traveling suit with hat to match and carried a bouquet of roses: Miss Elizabeth Shikaney, bridesmaid, sister of the groom, was dressed in a fall suit and hat and carried a bouquet of req roses. Dr. Michael Shikaney acted as best man. The groom is the.oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. O, N. Shikaney and has been a resident of Casper for the last even years. He is owner of S Rialto fruit store on Second strect. Following the ceremony the couple left for Estes park where a wedding breakfast was served by Mrs. Sadie Latouf, cousin of the groom at her summer cottage. The couple will spend a month jp the park after which they will return to Casper to make their home. eee Casper Girl to Be Graduated Friday. Miss Alice N. Mechting of this city is numbered among the class of eighty graduates of the ‘summer session of Drake university, at Des) Moines, who will be honored at the commencement exercises to be held Friday -evening, August 8, in the Drake auditorium. Harvey Ingham, editor of the Register-Tribune, will deliver the commencement address, and Presi- deat D. W. Morehouse will confer degrees and present diplomas to the graduates. Prof. Alfred Smith will play the processional and recessional on the pipe organ, and Prof. Franz Kuschan wil) play three cello solos.
