Kiwanis club this noon About 20 members of the local club have already signified their inten- tion of going to Denver for the con- vention and the officials hope that an even greater number will decide to attend since it is a rare op- portunity to have a national conven- tion so close to homé, Ratés for the round trip have been reduced to fare and one half, ‘The girls’ camp which 1s sponsored by the Kiwanis club will open July 6, on Elkhorn creek and on land owned by Dr. H. R. Lathrop. The first week of the camp will be given over to members of the Girl Scouts and the following week the camp is to be turned over to the Girl Re- serves and to non-organization girls. The camp this year should be the largest and most successful from all standpoints that has ever been held. Not only is there a bigger fund in the treasury, but public Interest in the project is also greater. A nurse, a caretaker, a cook and assistant cook, will be hired during the period of camp. A. M.
