Woman's Departmental Club Mecting Wednesday The Casper Woman's Department- ai club he'd their regular monthly meeting yesterday at the Knights of Pythias hall with Mrs P. C. Nicolay- sen president of the club pres ding. ‘The meeting was a social one and each member was accompanied by a guest. During the business séssion plans were made for a dancing party to be given in the Masonic temple the time to be announced later. It was decided upon during the meet- ing to sponser a pantomime “The Pipes of Pan" to be given by the charity department under the direc- tion, Miss Genevieve Fitzgerald. > gxs Children of the city will take part in the play which will be given the later part of-next month. Fo‘lowing the business meeting a talk on “Does Safety Pay” was given by Don Lobdell, assistant director of the Industral relations department of the Standard Oil company. Mrs. E. B. At the last meeting of the La dies’ Aid society of the First Pres- byterian church, before the hoh- days, ‘plans for the New Year's work were completed, among them being a campaign for new members, thi date for which will be announced later. The society has a member- ship of 200, divided into eight di visions with a capable chairman at the head of each division. Meeting: of the aid are hed on the first an hird Thursday of each month ant Mi always largely attended. Ai the present time the soclety is di recting its’ efforts toward the work of securing the new church now under-construction at the corner of Eighth, and Wolcott streets. At @ meeting of the officers and division leaders of the aid held yes- terday at the manse, 1103 .South Wolcott street, detailed plans for the campaign were made. Members of the divisions are asked to secure as many new members as possible by a certain date which will be an nounced next week. Officers for the society for the year are: President Mrs. B. ‘L. Scherck; vice president, Mrs. A. C. Riker; secretary, Mrs, Jo- seph Trask; and treasurer, Mrs. T. 8. Foster, . Latheran Men's Club Meeting Friday. The Lutheran Men's club will meet Friday evening, January 4, at 6.30 in the banquet room of the Henning hotel. A program of inter- ft has been p'anned which will in clude a vocal selection by Mrs. Harry Bubb, duet by H. M. Newland and H. E, Guthrie, an address on Public safety by O. C. Hauptli and'a talk on sanitation and health in re- lation to the home by Dr. G. S Barger. All men and their ladies are invited to attend and those in- tending to be present are asked to notify the Rev. C. W. Ebright, room 306 O-S building, as soon as pos- sible. Mrs. Hooper Entertains Midnight Bridge Club. Mrs. Paul Hooper entertained the members of the Midnight Bridge club last evening at the home of her aunt, Mrs. John McFadyen, on South Durbin street. Members pres- ent were Mrs. Frank Cowan, Mrs. T. J. Drew, Miss Kath’een Sullivan, Mrs. W. I. Rehr, Jr., Miss Patricia Sullivan, Miss Kathryn Mahoney, and Miss Margaret England.
