Well do you know when I was fairly reveling in th eGift Sections oand Art Nokos of the stores here this morning, I could easily have imganied myself in a little corner of Fifth Avenue. Such beautiful collections of Objects D’Art, as well as hundreds of the more practical things we love to give, have not met my eyes for many a day. Casper merchants are surely up and coming. And the faith they show in their city and in you! They seem to have such a personal knowledge of the wants and wishes of their patrons. The shops are filled with all the newest things in every lin e and the prices are so reasonable. Thereare just hundreds and hundreds of beautiful things to choose from and in my shopping from day to day, I cannot begin to tell you of half of them, but when I tell you about something in which you are particularly in- terested, you will know just where to find it and you are just sure to see other gifts you will want. This is the very nicest work in the world and Casper merchants are so cor- dial. They truly manifest the altruistic spirit of the west. Here are just a few choice | gifts awaiting your selection: SOMETHING ENTIRELY NEW Piece you will find Gresser scarfs, HAND MADE SILVER CASES If you are looking for a gift for some particular friend and you ar? anxious that it be especially artistic and quite out of the ordinary, you will be delighted with an artistic. electrically operated Incense Burner. It 1s called “The Crystal Gazer” and is an art cast about fourteen inches high. There is a base that closely resembles a real bronze and upon ft rests a kneeling figure clasp- ing a crystal ball which reflects vari-colored lights cast by a revolv- ing half hidden wheel operated by electricity. It is fitted with cord and socket ready for installation. The entire effect is Oriental and ex tremely artistic. You will find this charming gift at The Casper Sta: tlonery company, 138 South Center, street. VENETIAN LACE AND LINEN Beautiful Art Linens that will last a life time and so different! There is a round centerpiece forty-five by forty-five inches, that may also be used as a luncheon cloth, that is a marvel of beauty. The art linen is sheer and fine and the deep trregu- lar border of genuine Venetian lace 1s perfectly exquisite and of a qual- ity seldom found except in its native land. ‘There are also insets of this table runners as well as smaller pieces. They are shown in sets or may be purchased singly. These linens are genuine {mportations and you will find them at the Richards and Cunningham company. DAINTY CHINA FROM SHOFU If you have in mind a gift for 1 friend who entertains largely, there is the lovellest imported Sandwich Set you ever saw. It is of shimmer- ing, opalescent china in soft shades of yellow. The plates are an irregu- lar oblong in shape, with a round cleft for the cup, which prevents any possible chance of spilling and soiling Milady’s dress. This dainty, practical china set would delight the heart of any hostess and ts only one of many beauties I saw in Betty Jane's Gift Nook on the Mezzanine floor at the Frantz Shop. There is the loveliest pair of candle sticks from far away Indian,—but wait, I shall have to tell you about those another day. os For Colds, Grip er Influenza and as a Preventive, take Laxative BROMO ~ QUININE Tablets. At the Swanson Sisters Millinery and Art Store, 113 Eas First street, FOR A FRIEND'S NEW HOME | There are so many charming new | homes in Casper and I saw the love- | test pillow set that would add to |the comfort end beauty of some | living room. “The pillow is oblong in shape and the material ts an imported satin tapestry in stripes of | dull grays and greens, with a softly crushed band of flame satin around the center, finisted with an oriental tassel. This gives a bright touch of color that is most attractive. The runner for the long library table is made enpoint and matches perfectly. There are smaller runners for con- sole tables. You just can’t imagine how rich and beautiful they are,— but go in and see them at The Stuart Shop, 130 South Center street. LE DERNIER CRI IN SILVER Truly Fitth Avenue could show nothing finer than .the beautiful Gorham 8terling Silver Buffet Set I found in a mahogany wall case in @ brand new shop.in Casper yester- day. GENUINE ROSEVILLE POTTERY In a most attractive window on Wolcott street, I saw several pieces of pottery of unusual design and coloring and one knew instantly that just be genuine Roseville ™ of course I had to go in and inquire: Sure enough they were and one piece of this celebrated ware caught my fancy. It was a flower basket of dull opalescent blue, with a handle of unusual design. It would be charming filled with blossoms and placed on the tea table or in any dainty nook. There were any number of vases. bowls and odd pieces in a perfect riot of delicate coloring. Where do you think they are—in a flower shop of course—The Casper Floral company, the Midwest butlding- on Wolcott street. BEAUTIFUL AND INEXPENSIVE Really I have never seen such exquisite handkerchiefs! I came upon them quite unexpectedly, but they attracted my attention imme- diately and each one I looked at seemed prettier than the one before. They are all imported and of the sheerest linen. One style has a border of beautiful Venetian lace: others have delicate traceries of soft colors embroidered on white and some are all white. Then there are just dozens of the very newest in Sports handkerchiefs in bright colors or the daintier shades as one may choose. Each and every one is crisp and fresh from its wrapings and waiting to be claimed by some- one looking for a pretty but in- expensive gift.
