Public Market Furniture Company With so many new homes being constantly built in Cas- per and with the continual need of furnishing these with high class furniture, it is with pleasure that one looks on such an institution as the Public Market Furniture store which has found a location in the Second Street Public Market. Fine upholstering, attractive styles, honest-to-goodness values are all apparent. Up-to-date furniture, carpets, rugs, linoleums, in fact every- thing usually found in such a store will be found here. At this time it is quite possible to select an attractive Christmas vift among the many articles displayed at this store. The Market Bakery The Market Bakery is one of the attractive establishments located in the Public Market. W. E. Rowe, proprietor of the Snow White bakery, 236 South Wolcott, is the proprietor of the Market bakery also. Mr. Rowe has brought to the new branch the experience of many years in the baking business and has achieved a very remarkable result. On visiting the new Fines one can not help being impressed with the display of baking good which it affords. Freshness and modern methods in bread and pastry making are every- where evident, + The Norris Company Market A new branch by the Norris company is always an event, and when it is announced that such a new venture will be attempted by this concern the sentiment expressed and unex- pressed is to the effect that it is in keeping with their policy of growth along with Casper. The Norris company has been in its quarters at 129 East Second street for ten years. A lease for that period will expire in June. Some time ago it was found neccessary to establish a branch market at H and Durbin streets in order that the over. whelming business in North Casper might be taken care of. The company is at the present time planning to construct a plant which will take care of both the wholesale and retail trade. When the lease on the present quarters, 129 Last Sec. ond street, expires the new plant will be the main branch. Now the Norris company has seen a new outlet for its prod- ucts and has leased a space in the Second Street Public Mar- ket. A n up-to-date meat market is being established there which will immediately recommend itself to the visitor, be- cause of its general appearance of cleanliness and because of its convenience, Everything that a modern market should have will be found at Branch No. 3 of the Norris company. Every facility has been obtained in order that the products may be kept fresh. All kinds of meats, fresh and salt fish, and poultry are among the things which the branch will hendle Branch No. 3 invites public inspection with the confidence that there will be nothing to meet with public disapproval. Quality Fruit and Produce Store When V. R. Mokler and L. ©. Gauvain decided to lease a space in the Second Street Public Market they chose a posi- tion next to the window looking out on the avenue in order that they might better display the things which would be found in such a store as the Quality Fruit and Produce. The Quality Fruit and Produce makes a speciality of fruits and vegetables in season, fresh eggs, Murphy Brothers milk, and Clover Bloom and Alliance butter. It aims to keep its stock always fresh and attractive. Only the best possible prod- uct in each line will be purchased for the establishment, the proporietors feeling that with only a small market space available they cannot afford to handle anything but the best. This does not mean high prices however, for the prices at tho Quality Fruit and Produce will be found to be right. Mr. Mokler is at present assistant cashier in the Stock- men’s National bank. He has been a resident of Casper since birth and has made many friends here. Mr. Gauvain was formerly with the Cooley Fruit and Pro- duce company. He has had much experience in the lines he is now handling. WIRTH’S POP CORN STAND Wirth’s Pop Corn stand which has just been installed in the public market will prove a treat because of its handy loca- tion. Children no doubt will be more anxious to go to market because of the existence of Mr. Wirth’s modern machine for turning outfresh pop corn.
